Strawberries and Cherry Blossoms

We just passed strawberry season in Japan and we were able to go to a nearby farm to pick some strawberries. It was all you can eat strawberries for 30 minutes. At first you think 30 minutes is not a lot of time, but by the time we hit 20 minutes were were stuffed with strawberries and struggling to continue. It was really fun to take the boys and they were probably the best strawberries we’ve ever eaten (they were seriously so good). It is popular here to dip your strawberries in a sweet milk cream and they even provided that at the farm. We were fans!

We also just passed cherry blossom season in our area. We were able to catch some early blooms in the Miura area as we walked to Komatsugaike Pond. The street is lined with cherry blossom trees and yellow flowers. It was beautiful!
