We did fun Halloween activities throughout the month, from little crafts, to reading Halloween books, watching Halloween movies and introducing the boys to Scooby Doo! One of our bigger Halloween adventures was to Ofuna Flower Garden in the Kamakura area.
We started the morning out with a glorious drive to a restaurant called Brunches in Fujisawa. Mt. Fuji was not hiding this day and was proudly showing off its beauty.
We were really missing some American breakfast food which is hard to find here. The drive to Brunches was totally worth it. Really good breakfast with french toast and pancakes!
Finger licking good!
After breakfast we went to the Ofuna Flower Garden and saw some pretty flowers, dragonflies, bumble bees, bonsai trees, banana trees, and added Halloween fun.
The main attraction we came to see were their giant pumpkins! The kids could play on and push them around. They had a blast.
Halloween weekend we enjoyed baking halloween cupcakes together and painting/carving pumpkins.
I had to rep Demon Slayer this year
The base had a lot of Halloween events to choose from. We decided to do their trunk or treat on Saturday and Sunday we did regular trick or treating. There were a TON of people both nights and it was so much fun. The boys were super into trick or treating this year too. This year we did a Toy Story theme. Jeffrey was Buzz Lightyear, Jon was Woody, I was a green alien, and Taylor was THE CLAWWW.
Happy Halloween!
